Our Payneham project involved a carefully crafted modern industrial addition to the back of a 1960s house, paired with a thoughtful restoration of the original facade. Designed by Mavtect Designs, the project called for a harmonious blend of old and new, with key features including a polished concrete floor that added a sleek, contemporary touch to the addition. A custom steel balustrade further emphasised the industrial aesthetic, providing both functionality and visual appeal. To maximise space efficiency, a euro laundry was cleverly integrated beside the kitchen, ensuring practicality without compromising the clean, modern design. The open-plan living area featured commercial bifold doors that open out onto the deck and garden, making it a perfect family home and entertaining space. This project beautifully marries the home’s historical charm with modern, industrial elements, creating a unique and inviting living space.
